Between Here & There—Walking is Thinking

Between Here & There—Walking is Thinking, is a final year project devoted to the study of walking. Inspired by the likes of Science of the Secondary, this project explores if walking can be more than just a walk. Or more than a means to get from one place to another.

Research includes walking in different cultures and religions, walking in art and art movements and walking as mentioned or adopted by philosophers or writers. 5 different quotes were extracted from the research and was responded to in 5 different walks in 5 specific locations. The walks were then documented in video and expressed through print.

This project was selected to be exhibited in the Youth Innovative Design Festival (2019) in Taiwan, amongst 7 other Singaporean designers for Kaohsiung's regional design festival.
